VALIDATION OF FORCE GENERATION 1080 QUANTUM SUMMARY

Dala Sport Academy 2015, Project Coordinator Frej Hallgren

The purpose with the project was to validate the measuring reliability in 1080 Quantum. The force (N) applied by the user is calculated by the system as various functional movements are performed. Tests were conducted using a range of load settings in system gear 1.

RESULTS
The statistical correlation between peak force values, calculated peak force values between reference level K-toyo 333A and 1080 Quantum, showed a very strong correlation (r = 0.9995). The coefficient of variation was 0.96%, see Figure 3.

In Figure 4 we see a graphical representation of the difference between the peak force values calculated by the 1080 Quantum relative to the peak force values calculated by the reference level Ktoyo 333A (n = 97). We see that 87 of the 97 measurements calculated by the 1080 Quantum showed lower or equal to the peak force values of K-toyo 333A. The other peak-force values (n = 10) showed higher peak-force values in the 1080 Quantum than the reference level K-toyo 333A. The average of the percentage difference between the peak force values calculated by the 1080 Quantum and calculated by the K-toyo 333A was estimated at 2.08% (SD = 0.017).
