1080 Movement Assessment Profile
1080 MAP is a uniquely effective and accurate test system for determining a person’s fundamental ability to move. The system is based on combinations of full-body movement patterns yielding profiles that will determine what is needed to improve mobility, stability, force, speed, power and endurance for athletic ability or everyday function.
1080 MAP is divided into three levels; Movement, Transformation and Performance.
Movement cover mobility and stability, while Transformation loads similar movement patterns with 1080 Quantum to quantify force, speed, power and endurance. Performance is the third level, quantifying performance variables.
The conclusion is a highly effective tool to understand the physical factors that determine performance.
The first level of 1080 MAP covers mobility and stability as this is the foundation of any human movement and physical performance. The goal of the testing is to determine the stable “mobility sphere”. Left and right stance movements are evaluated for both magnitude and symmetry.
To measure full-body three dimensional movement patterns the 1080 MAT is an easy to use tool. It consists of a circular test area divided by vectors. Measurements in centimeters and degrees provide the input to the 1080 MAP database.
1080 MAP stands out as the only scientifically validated method that is repeatable for mobility and stability assessment.
1080 MAP Sequence
ASSESS
Systematic combination and measurement of movement patterns in standing positions to quantify function. Quantification of mobility, stability, strength, power, endurance and performance.
ANALYZE
Scores of different tests are combined and directly linked to each other to create unique individual profiles. All profiles reflect physical performance, identify physical limitations and hidden potential.
OPTIMIZE
1080 MAP results in highly specific and individualized treatment and training programs that will optimize functional performance.
Test results are captured, analysis is done, and feedback is given from the 1080 MAP cloud based client management system. Here, each client’s results can be compared over time, on detailed level or by using a composite mobility score.
Comparisons may also be done against the entire data base population based on gender, age, sport and performance level. Based on the analysis, feedback can be sent directly to the client.
Get Certified
1080 MAP certification is provided in three levels. Courses are differentiated for either Trainers or Therapists in related clinical disciplines.
